CAIRO: Al–Azhar University has reported various tasks that mean to teach Islamic teachings to new Muslims, non-Arabic talking Muslims, and non-Muslims intrigued by exploring Islam.

Al-Azhar has as well started a coordinated task to "reconnect" with the West in a joint effort with the British Council, the Goethe Institute, and the Institut Français d'egypte.
