JEDDAH: Saudi Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh called the Takfiri (ISIL) an “aggressive and oppressive” group that “sheds blood” Sunday, September 7, 2014.

“If they fight Muslims, then Muslims must fight them to rid people and religion of their evil and harm,” the mufti remarked, adding, “They have been killing ever since they began their fight. Their killing is filled with mutilations and hideousness that distort (the image of) Muslims.”

Takfiri terrorists, at the moment control parts of eastern Syria and Iraq's northern and western areas. They have undermined all groups, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Izadi Kurds and others, as they proceed with their slaughter in Iraq.

The ISIL activists have been as of now inflicting devastation on Syria and Iraq. The terrorists have been perpetrating grievous crimes including the mass execution of innocent civilians and military in the zones they have under control in the two neighboring nations.

In late August, reports said the ISIL activists were aiming to dispatch an assault against the Saudis amid Eid al-Adha (the Feast of Sacrifice), which denote the climax of the yearly Hajj journey.

On August 19, the sheikh portrayed the ISIL as "foe number-one" of Islam, noting that fanaticism, radicalism, and terrorism have nothing to do with the Islam.
